For over 150 years we have been faithful to quality boot making. This tradition is evident in our attention to detail throughout the boot. That’s why we are one of the last boot makers around to use channeled welt construction in the leather insole resulting in a low profile. Other unique construction features are steel shanks for arch support and wooden pegs in the arch area. Unlike a nail, wooden pegs enable the sole of the boot to adjust naturally to changes in temperature and moisture. As the natural leather sole expands and contracts with wear and weather, so do the pegs, therefore they do not fall out or rust like a nail.
Anderson Bean Boots have a distinctive and comfortable fit. We build our boots honestly, without shortcuts, gimmicks, or tricks, to bring you the traditions of the boot maker’s art. The styles featured here will prove that Anderson Bean Boots can satisfy the person who wears boots as a lifestyle, whether working behind a desk or on the back of a horse.
